Eye Ball Jelly

It’s a clear, colorless, gel-like substance that fills most of the inside of the eye, sitting between the lens and the retina. Its texture is soft and wobbling, like firm gelatin or unset jelly, made up of about 98–99% water, with a delicate mesh of collagen fibers and hyaluronic acid holding it together. It helps the eye keep its round shape, lets light pass through unobstructed, and cushions the retina against sudden movement.
